About Us

Kay Hobson trained in London in a Fashion House under the tuition of Maureen Baker, the designer of the Princess Royal's wedding dress, and also attended the London College of Fashion. She has over 20 years experience in the fashion industry, and now designs and makes gowns from her studio in Belper, Derbyshire.

Kay's Bridal Studio provides a relaxed setting to discuss your ideas and requirements, and appointments can be made at convenient times for the bride-to-be.

Many of Kay’s designs feature embroidered detailing in gold, silver and ivory on silk fabrics. All designs can be co-ordinated with a matching veil and head-dress and even the groom’s waistcoat.
